The Edit

Welcome to The Tejori Edit.

Let’s talk about the clothes we love, the money we spend on them, and what happens when we stop wearing them and all the things we all know happen, but don’t always say out loud.

The pressure to have something new for every wedding. Spending hundreds on South Asian occasionwear you might only wear once. The lehenga sitting in the wardrobe “just in case”. Wondering if people will notice you’ve worn it before. Following every new trend while the clothes you already own sit untouched.

That’s the conversation behind The Tejori Edit.

We’re exploring South Asian fashion, Desi culture, style, preloved clothing, resale and the changing way we consume fashion including the expectations, habits and realities that sit behind what we buy and wear.

Expect unfiltered conversations, styling tips, South Asian fashion trends, preloved fashion, sustainability, circular fashion and industry insights. We’ll talk about what’s happening in fashion, what we’re learning from the industry and the ideas that could help us rethink the way we buy, wear, rewear and pass on our clothes.

Because changing the way we consume Asian fashion isn’t about giving up the clothes we love or the culture around them. It’s about finding new ways to enjoy them whether that’s buying preloved, reselling something sitting in your wardrobe, rewearing an old favourite or simply buying more consciously.

As I build Tejori, I’ll share what I’m seeing, learning and questioning along the way from sustainability news and industry events to the conversations happening around South Asian fashion, resale and circularity.

No lectures. No pretending we have all the answers. Just honest conversations about the clothes we love, the culture around them and the things we could do differently.

Have something you think we should be talking about? Drop us an email and tell us. Every blog will be shared across our socials too, so you can share your views and continue the conversation there.
